Chelsea Thrashes Barcelona in the Champions League

The Spanish club Barcelona suffered a heavy defeat against the English club Chelsea by three goals to nil, in the match that brought them together in the fifth round of the group stage in the UEFA Champions League, as the London team continued to advance while the Catalan team noticeably declined in the standings.

Chelsea took the lead with the first goal following a mistake by the French defender Jules Koundé who scored an own goal, before the young Brazilian star Estêvão added the second goal in the 55th minute after skillfully dribbling past Barcelona's defense and delivering a powerful shot that found the net.

In the 75th minute, Liam Delap deepened Barcelona's woes by scoring the third goal after a brilliant pass from Enzo Fernández, confirming Chelsea's complete dominance over the course of the match.

With this victory, Chelsea raised their points tally to 10, placing them fifth, while Barcelona's points remained at 7, causing them to drop to fifteenth place in the standings.
