Liverpool Targets AC Milan Star in Major Transfer Move
Liverpool could have reached an agreement to make a strong move of 120 million euros to the curtain raiser from Rafael Leão signing, what club will strengthen his attacking line and give them better performances in the Premier League.
Leao is reported to be going through one of his best phases in Milan at the moment, returning to a top notch form both from a physical point of view (strength and speed) and creativity, attracting the interest of many clubs on the market. But despite the fact that his Milan deal runs until 2028, both Milan's current financial situation and the player's own ambitions mean serious offers will not be ruled out, especially if growing interest from around England continues to grow.
Liverpool reportedly believe Leao is the sort of forward Arne Slot would want to alter the club's fortunes following a fall in attacking productivity, according to the report. The English club are convinced that even his physical and technical characteristics are the right fit for the EPL.
However, the management of AC Milan indicated that they do not have Leao on sale but could consider a tempting offer if any comes especially as the buyout clause for The player is over 170 million euros. And despite Leao having his head firmly screwed on, the chance to sample life in the English Premier league could be hard to resist.
The report says that the completed deal would be one of the biggest in January window, especially with Liverpool determined to hand Leão the captain’s armband for their new attacking project.
